Vì nhiều lý do khác nhau, khi lướt web thỉnh thoảng chúng ta gặp phải các site bị blocked không truy cập trực tiếp được. Khi đó nếu bạn có sẵn SOCK hay Proxy IP riêng để dùng, mọi việc trở nên đơn giản. Tuy nhiên, nếu bạn cần vào site đó, có thể dùng các webproxy, là các site cung cấp 1 công cụ fake IP đơn giản.
Chú ý là dùng các web proxy này chỉ dùng để tăng tốc độ lướt web là chính và truy cập vào các site bị chặn, chứ không có nhiều ý nghĩa lắm khi kiếm tiền.
